I modge-podged a tiny part of my ATG's lid just for fun. And just as a test for the other side, to see if I was up to modge-podging in general.
I traced the area with vellum (I didn't have any tracing paper). Then I cut it out, and kept laying the vellum over all kinds of patterned papers until I found one with an image that fit nicely.
The paper is from Crafty Secrets' Little Dolls Image and Journal Note Booklet. I have had this booklet for a LONG time, but never knew how to use it, because I am just lost when it comes to patterned paper. I did colour the image first, with Copics (because watercolours would have run, since Modge-podge is water-based).

This is so cute and gives your ATG a personality all its own. When I first saw your thumbnail in the WT gallery, my thought was you didn't use your tape gun....which I couldn't believe! Mine is inches from my hands on my crafting table. : )
