I went for purple today...in a big way! I wasn't sure where I was headed this morning when I started out but I knew I wanted to use this stamp and the paper...I picked out the ribbon and it all came together. And these women have to be sisters..in fact they could be twins they look so much alike. Anyway it made me think of my sister and how close we are. I hand pleated the ribbon and added three charms...they're all so cool I couldn't use just one so I went the charm bracelet route and used them all! The heart in the picture is the top of a Limoges box I got from my mom for college graduation..inside was a necklace that had been my grandmother's passed on to my mom and now to me...sigh....

You mean you are going to use that beautiful heart shaped porcelain jewelry box top keepsake! Oh, this card must be going to someone VERY special because it has to have lots of meaning wrapped inside! Your ribbon turned out beautiful, Polly, and I love the lacy vintage feel of this purple creation. Purple is my favorite color, and it looks great~

WOW! Your wonderful card is so rich and elegant!!! The color is divine!!! LOVE the vintage images of the sisters with the pretty doily behind. Your charms over the pleated ribbon are such a fantastic trimming!!! Everything is gorgeous and then the sentimental limoge lid looks beautiful along side. Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful!!!

Polly, love your card with the "most serious" sisters. : ) Purple is a great color for them and the charms on your pleated ribbon are terrific. You have the best "trinkets and trims". Thanks for sharing a view of your lovely Limoges box and the story that goes with it.
