I wanted to use up the spare green triangles from cutting my pennant for Wednesday's sketch - although in the end I cut another blue one, so there's still one green one left.
This is also for the current ODBD challenge to use distressing or tearing. The inner edges of the green and blue triangles are heavily distressed.
The latest Friday Flashback featured this set and inspired me to get it out again - along with the fact that my MIL has been in hospital for over 6 weeks now, and DH is trying not to worry.
A2 base. I stamped the chicory onto the the white layer with Versafine Black, and then added the triangles, with several rows of black stitching to finish it. I used narrow black organza for a bow down the left.
Sentiment cut with Mega Ovals and popped up on foam.
I added two extra chicory blossoms, coloured with watercolour crayons, and a butterfly also coloured with crayons and coated with some old, very runny Stickles that isn't much good anymore.
