It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with yesterday's sketch. All I kept seeing was this banner... and then I saw a black and white checkered flag! Yes, it is still a banner, but I thought it would be a great backdrop for one of the CARS trinkets left over from a packet I got for Tyler's 3rd birthday - LOL.
I ran the bg paper through a TH EF with gears. Thought it was perfect for the racing theme. Added a vertical sentiment from Gina K, some screws in the upper right corner, and called it finished. I sure hope my Great Nephew likes it
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it too

I'm sure any boy his age would like it - and you wouldn't need to change much for it to appeal widely to guys. The checkered flag is always a winner, and the vertical sentiment is such a super alternative for ribbon on a guy card - great styling!

Great card, Love the colours you chose. The checkered flag works great. The little screws make a perfect bling for a little boys card, the car theme is great. tfs.

I'm sure Tyler is going to love it....especially with the "Cars" image. It's great how yoiu carried out the car theme with the checkered flag DP and gear embossing. Really cute and well thought out, Barb.

Your nephew will adore this card! My twins had a Cars themed party for their sixth birthday. I will have to show them this card when they wake up in the morning. I know they will love it, too. Great job!
