Back when stamping was new and dinosaurs roamed the earth (a little hyperbole...), su! sold foam mounted stamps. A few years ago, I dis-assembled all of mine and mounted them on cling rubber or left them unmounted, to be used with tack 'n' peel blocks. The star and the ticking bg that fills it, after masking, were two of those unmounted images. Brings back memories.
My other passion is quilting, and I'm very careful with my sewing tools. I won't use my sewing machine for stitching on paper. The stitches you see here are stamped.

LOL Tee hee hee I have some of those stamps, Brenda, and they are so hard to use! It's so easy to get ink on the rubber where you don't want it to be, well I'm sure you know that, and that's why you unmounted them. I should do that so I will use them more often. I really like this card; it's clean and your star with its stitches looks great, and what a perfect sentiment~
