This sketch scared me at first, so I looked for inspiration for a flag. I tried boat flags and then triangle flags and saw one that looked like a checkered flag. That worked for me.... I went to Hambo Stamps and bought the racecar digi they had to go with my flag.
Thanks for looking

Irene, a wonderful card featuring your "checkered flag" theme. Cute racer with great coloring. What a darling card for a young boy or an "old boy" who is into racing.
Super card for a youngster's birthday. I really like the twine used as the exhaust of the car. Very, very clever. Also like the red, white and blue background.

Oh my are you ever clever!!!!! I love the way you anchored the twine, and I'm crazy about the way you used the checkered stamp. I have one I've never inked because I wouldn't have thought of a way EVER! this card is oodles of inspiration. Thank you so much!
