Happy Monday everyone. Here is my first peel-off Glittered Sticker card. I learned this technique yesterday (Thanks Sue). Cut a piece of double sided sticky tape (I used Sookwang) - Peel off one side only and place carefully onto cardstock. Next peel off the other side and place your sticker on top. Next I sprinkled on Glitter Ritz ultra fine glitter (I was told that I should have used Micro ultra fine glitter- because it colours easier). Removed the excess glitter and then ran my finger overtop of the glitter sheet to set the glitter. Then I coloured the teapot ( I used Tombow Markers). I cut out my teapot (make sure it is dry or you will smudge the ink). I learned this by accident - I ran my image through the cuttlebug - was wanting to make it an oval shape - the ink squished outside of the black sticker and ruined my beautiful glittery white background. I did manage to salvage a bit - I made the butterfly from it.
My teapot sticker image is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Sentiment is from Stampin Up - It's your Birthday set.
I made the striped background panelI made the black and white background paper. Cut a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch square of white paper. Scored lines every 3/4" on the diagonal. Cut out 3/8" strips of black card stock. On the left lower side I place the black strips just underneath the score lines. Cut off the excess black parts. Matted with 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 black card stock. Sewed Edges.
Thanks for looking - hugs..Pat

Pat, this teapot it gorgeous!! The micro fine glitter is super duper fine, but the ultra works just as well, IMO! Either way, this card is a beauty!! I got to meet Els at my local LSS, she had all of her cards with her, oh are they ever gorgeous. Harriet, aka hskelly also took a class in her area. If she happens to be in your area, go see her and her work! Use caution though, she's a great enabler! hahaha
