Who can resist summer's first, sweet strawberries? Yum! I made this card for my Mom who thinks dipping them in chocolate makes them an "extra" sweet indulgence!
Stef chose SV Soaps as our IC challenge site today. I was inspired to focus on the green and berries in this lip balm packaging:
I intended to put glossy accents on the strawberries, which I've seen done and it looks waaaay cool, but my bottle never dispensed it correctly and as of now, it's a gonner. Darn! :(
Sketch is based on Unscripted Sketches #165 found here:
Stamps: SU, PTI, Hampton Arts (on the inside)
Paper: Walmart black cardstock, Paper Studios kraft cardstock, SU ? green cardstock, SU real red cardstock, SU dp border
Ink: PTI, SU
Accessories: SU sponges for distressing edges of green panel
THANKS for looking!

Yummy scrummy. We're having strawberries and cream for dessert tonight, no chocolate. It's been such a bad summer, though, that they're not getting very cheap this year - I'll just have to pay full price if I want to make icecream any time soon. Love the great summer feel to this.
