I know it's July and summer is just getting started (at least here in Portland, Oregon), but the Creative Crew is celebrating Christmas in July. Won't you play along with us? Here are the details on this particular DSP/Color Focus Challenge: "Create a Christmas card in the designated colors (Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and Very Vanilla) and/or Be of Good Cheer dsp using the Sketch Challenge 300. Use all three colors on your card."
I started with a Cherry Cobbler card base. I wanted to add some texture to the base, so I added a Cherry Cobbler Paper Doily die cut to it and then added the two strips of Be of Good Cheer dsp. (I know you can't see much of that doily die cut, so I sponged it with Cherry Cobbler ink.) For the main panel, I stamped the flourish with Gumball Green ink onto Very Vanilla cs and the two outside stockings with Classic Cherry Cobbler ink and the inside stocking with Craft Cherry Cobbler ink so I could emboss it with Clear Emboss Powder. (I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to perfectly line up those stockings.) I then added my Merry tag with a Mini Silver Brad, layered the panel onto Gumball Green and Cherryl Cobbler cs, added the three ribbon tabs and adhered it to the card with Dimensionals.

Oh, I so badly need to start some holiday cards, but I don't see it happening any time soon. Yours have come out beautifully. Love the stocking, colors, dp and especially the cute ribbon loops!
