It has been a very busy day with lots to do but I just had to take some time out to play today. When I saw Mary's awesome gallery for the Queen for the Day Challenge. I just had to play along. I decided to use some elements from this card . I am not as lucky as Mary to have that gorgeous doily stamp but I decided to create my own stamped doily by sponging over Cheery Lynn's Canadian Kaleidoscope . I also used three flowers like Mary but changed the layout, stamps, and color as well as added some vines.
Unfortunately I have had some friends lose loved ones so I needed some thinking of you cards. This is a card I made for a sweet older lady who lost her husband after 67 years of marriage.
The stamps used are sneak peaks of Sharing Your Sorrow and Flowering Faith from Our Daily Bread Designs . The flowers on the borders are using a flower in the Flowering Faith set.
Thanks for inspiring us with your beautiful gallery Mary and congratulations for a well deserved honor.
Thanks for looking!!
