For Father's Day I made my husband a card from the kids, and attempted to keep it fairly simple (because that's how he rolls). We recently went to the beach, and really enjoyed seeing our kids playing together; we also had a very funny encounter with a crab. This darling Crafter's Companion image from the Sweet as Sunshine set was perfect for his card! I colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers - here's a breakdown of what I used on this card:
It looks like a lot of markers, but it didn't take long at all. About 15-20 minutes to color, I think. I added a sentiment from the One in a Million set - I love the way it looks like a child's handwriting! And some torn cork to mimic the sand finished it off. Ohohohohoh - those little dew drops? They started out white, and I colored them with a Spectrum Noir marker to match! Hubs was super thrilled with this card - it's hanging in the kitchen right now
