This week's Color Challenge made me think of autumn and since I had the perfect dp for the challenge, I went ahead and made an autumn card. I make Christmas cards throughout the year, but somehow it felt far more strange to be making an autumn card in June than making a Christmas card!
I used a kraft cardbase, a couple of layers of autumn leaf colours, then the dp that has all three of the challenge colours in it. For the stamped tree and falling leaves, I used my closest ink colours.

I was just planning (well, thinking of planning) Christmas cards for classes in Sept. & Oct. and thought about needing to fit Autumn/Halloween cards in there for other classes. Makes my head spin to think so far ahead of today. This fits right in with my thinking and I needed the inspiration. Have a great weekend, Susan.

What a lovely DP! Reminds me of brocade. The image with it's falling leaves is perfect for it. Ovals are such a nice shape to highlight an image. This is such a nice card and since the fall is my favourite time of year to be outside I like this very much!
