Whew, sorry for the load of acronyms! I thought I would upload these photos of my storage solution for PTI stamps as a response to a forum thread posted by Valli:
I decided to use the blank SU DVD cases I'd ordered to store my PTI sets in for two reasons. I didn't like that the stamps were being squished when the CD case was closed, and I found it nearly impossible to get an idea of what stamps were in each set by looking at the CD cases; the clear labels, stamps, and cases made it hard to tell one image from the next, and the small size of the CD cases meant that the images and sentiments all had to be crammed tightly together in no particular order. I wanted to be able to organize image stamps and sentiment stamps, and to easily see what was in each set. Please refer to my posting (#10) on the thread for what I did. The size of paper I used for the sleeve insert was 7" x 10.5", scored at 5" and 5.5" down the 10.5" side. Hope this is helpful to anyone else finding the same problems. You could even store matching dies in the same case as the stamps if you wanted.

You might want to check with PTI about that particular storage for their stamps. I believe the stamps react with the type of plastic used for the dvd cases. Even if they are attached to the original plastic I don't know if the case gives off anything that may affect the stamps.

I checked with SU and their cases are made of polypropylene, which is the same material that the new Tim Holtz stamp storage folders are made of. The Tim Holtz ones state that they are safe for use with both rubber and clear stamps, so the SU ones should be too. I've checked on the PTI forums and at least two other people have been storing their PTI stamps this way for a couple of years with no problems. So far so good!
