For this fun project I got out my newest gizmo, the Perfect Airbrush tool (generously sent to me by the wonderful crew over at Perfect Paper Crafting), to whip up a quick and easy end-of-year project for my little sweetie. Although the tool is available with markers of its own, I chose to use my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers because I wanted all of the colors to coordinate well. I held the marker tip up to the end of the tool, puffed some air, and voila! Instant artsy spatter. Some places have darker spots, and some have a softer, sponged/airbrushed feel. I really love the effect! I paired it with some new stamps being released by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this Thursday to create this gift set for her. The bag is full of new hairbands (we'll need them for summer), gummy worms, and Werther's candies (she loves 'em!).
Here's a breakdown of the Spectrum Noir markers I used:
Pinks: BP6, PP6, BP1; CR5 (spatter only)
Greens: CG4, LG4, LG3
Blue (Spatter Only): TB4, TB2
Supplies:
Stamps: Happy Place (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)
Card Stock: White (Neenah), Black (Recollections)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Coloring Medium: Spectrum Noir
Tools: Perfect Airbrush Tool (Perfect Paper Crafting), Edge Punch (Martha Stewart)
