I combined this weeks FS277 "susanbri" and CAS172 "Love" challenges, since Susan has such a wonderful CAS style gallery. I am thrilled Susan you were chosen this week. You are so deserving. I already have so many of your beautiful cards in my gallery. Have a great week my friend.
I did use the brand new 2012-14 In Colors Gumball Green and Midnight Muse. I brayered both colors by brayering off much of the colors to get lighter shades of the green and blue. I stamped the silhouette image and sentiment with the true Midnight Muse color. I was pleased at how well the Not Quite Navy brads went so well with both colors too.

Beautiful work with the brayer!! Love the softness you've achieved from the bold new in-colors. Image looks wonderful cut out in the pretty shape. Love the embossed, striped background as well - adds a lot of texture.

Nancy, thank you for honouring me with a CASE of my card while I am Featured Stamper. Your card is beautiful - I love the new colours, especially the blue - great use of it in its true form and in a much paler form. And I love the way your green and blue overlap in the middle as if it was shadows in a landscape. I might have to get the striped embossing folder as it adds such a classy look.
