This is for several challenges: FTL191 from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog, Cas-ual Fridays CFC53 - Get Punchy, Dynamic Duo #3 - Black Tie (black and Yellow with Dry Embossing for dessert) and the Paper Players PP96 - to use Polka Dots. I have seen a few cards where the negative die cut is filled with the die cut in other colors - so the result is a flat panel. That is what I did here - using the Memory Box Poppy Die, cutting it out of a white dry embossed piece of card stock and filling it in with a yellow die cut.

I'm going to have to give the *inset* punch image a try, Harriet. I like this new option of getting notified when your stamping friends post new works of art.

Very cool card! I love that poppy die and I love what you did with it today. The polka dot theme carried through out your beautiful creation is genius! GREAT job!

Thanks for explaining how you used the poppy die - I love the effect you get and also the fact that the card stays flat for mailing if necessary. Beautiful card!
