My DD asked for a birthday card for one of the owners of the salon she works at. She requested music, piano, hair dressing theme. Well, I had to play with this idea for a bit to let it gel and then I had to figure out how to create a keyboard, since I don't have a piano or keyboard stamp. And it's for a guy so it couldn't be feminine. I decided to use today's color challenge as a starting point. I sponged all of the retiring In Colors onto a piece of glossy card stock (yes there is some Blushing Bride on there) and then stamped that piece with the retired SU Musical Score background stamp. I created a keyboard with strips of black and white glossy card stock. I stamped, embossed and cut out a G cleff. There is Gold Glitz embossing powder sprinkled onto the G cleff and the musical score.
Inside greeting says:
On your birthday, do the things you love!
Let the wine and music flow,
spend time with friends and family
eat lots of cake and if you have trouble
with all those candles, pull out your blow dryer!
Happy Birthday!
I am really going to miss the Concord Crush and the Pear Pizzazz card stock. Sadly I placed my order this month too late to stock up on the Concord Crush Card stock. Sigh.

Kathy, this is fantastic! WOW! What a hard combo of themes to combine. You did a fantastic job for a music themed salon card! Love how you incorporated the colors, too! Awesome!
