To honor this week's Queen Mary, I chose her Birthday Train card to CASE. For the mountains I used some patterned vellum -- today's Free4All challenge -- sponged with Tea Dye distress ink. I added the trestle under the train made with a Cheery Lynn Lattice die, adding some small trees and birds from a brand-new MFP set called Scenic Selections. The sentiment is from another brand-new MFP set, Oopsy Daisy. I airbrushed the sky.

What an awesome card you've created. Wonderful image of the train on the trestle tracks! I like all the touches you've added of the mountains, birds and pine trees. This is just wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing your creativity.

Lois, what an outstanding idea using the trestle for the train...you are so creative. I really like those vellum mountains, too.

Great card you've created with this little train and trestle! It's just so cute and fun! I wasn't aware that you're a purple fan until your comment today, but I'm a purple NUT who just adores that color too! GMTA!
