You wonder where red and green go after Christmas...well they showed up at my house today! I chose them as they are complementary colors on the color wheel which was our challenge for today. I used red and green washi tape for accents on this. It's so much fun to work with..you just tear some off! Don't start singing Jingle Bells or anything....hmm...hmm all the way...what fun...hmmm..hmm

How delightful, Polly. Love your punny sentiment with the cute birdie and that fantastical, lacy, Victorian cage. The way you combined the red/green is wonderful and I love the touches of flowers and gingham ribbon(I'm a sucker for gingham).

Love the eclectic composition of your adorable card, Polly! Love the gingham and your use of washi tape...I've yet to get any of this, but have seen several tutorials on how to make your own. I'll have to give it a try!

I love red and green together! And why should they be just for Christmas? You did a marvelous job with those colors, and the kraft bg helps to tone them down some.
