Hello-
Better late, than never....I'm posting tonight late, because we had a very busy day.
As you can see, today's share is of a couple of mother's day cards that I made and I can't wait to mail them off...the recipients are just going to love them.
These were a little time consuming to make, but the end result made it so worth it.
I started by stamping this flower image from Stampendous ( Narcissus ) on a piece of Watercolor paper two times with Staz On black ink.
I used my Stampin' Up! inks and colored them with my aqua painter, it's not always easy to get the right shading and such, but I try my best.
After that I stamped the same image on a piece of Kraft card stock with versa mark and black EP.
I then cut the flower that I wanted out and popped it up with dimensionals, stamped my sentiment (also embossed), and basically that was about it...Added a few scraps of paper for color & called it done.
Would love to hear your thoughts...
This card was inspired by a card idea I saw in my current SU catalog...
I hope you like it...
I've been scrapping some this week, so be sure to check back for a layout share next Wednesday....
Until then, have a Great Week!

I really like the concept of this card. Mother's day is to spotlight someone special in your life and you did a great job spotlighting one flower from the bunch.
