Hi there.
When I visited a local scrapbooking shop yesterday I came accross this scrapbook paper and when I saw the cute little bird on it I just knew I had to buy it to make a card for my sister-in-law. She is a very keen birder and is celebrating her birthday next month. She just loves anything in the line of birds, plants and flowers. I did not want to wait till next month to make the card, and the little bird in the circle, made it the perfect paper to use for the current Mojo Monday challenge. I was lucky enough to find the matching flowers to go with the paper! The lace, ribbon and pearl headed pins I got at the sewing shop next door and I raced back home, eager to make my card!
I've done a lot of layering with the circles and the banner (I've added an extra circle) and ended with a card with a lot of depth. I tried to take the best photo to show some of the layering.
I must admit I'm quite pleased with how this card turned out and I don't think I'll be able to wait till next month to send it to her - she'll probably receive this card a few weeks before her birthday!
Hope you like Edith's card and that she will also like it!!
Thank for looking.

Wow, Petra - this is gorgeous! Your soft colors go so very nicely with the sentiment under the bird; gentle beauty. It truly is amazing with those flowers, pearls, lace and lovely ribbon complete with stick pins.
