Have not had much time for cards the past week or so, but wanted to send this card of encouragement and sweet wedding remembrances to Allan and Ellen, who could use a little happy mail. See their story HERE
I started with a base of white, added an embossed layer of white, sponged with wasabi , then pulled out my fabulous Floral Oval nestie - after I layered up all the cardstock, I spritzed it with Champagne shimmery paint, and popped up the embossed sentiment, "Remember when." to take them back to the happy day they were married. Added my punched pine branches, and red sponged roses. Hope they like this card and it makes them smile!

YAY! You did so good getting in the red and green! I made a card and mailed it out today, but my red and green were strips of CS on the inside with the stamped Congrats! Kind of like cheating, I suppose? I may have to come in the back door? Glad you found time to play-your card is BEAUTIFUL!

Sue this is gorgeous! I love how you layered this up and that big sentiment is perfect. I love all the glitz. This will be so appreciated. Lovely card Sistah!

Such beautiful soft green sponging, Sue, and I can see the glimmer and shimmer - love that, and you even captured it with your photo (I can hardly get sparkle to show!) The lacey oval is just gorgeous...I really love the way you handled these colors!

This is just beautiful Sue! They didn't get a photo album (their respective "kids" did take some pix) so this sort of fills in a blank. If you don't mind, I'm going to suggest that they fill your amazing frame with a picture of themselves from that day. Please let me know about that...
Thank you so much for coming to the tea party this week, it means so much to me and will to Alan & Ellen. Big Hugz from this side of the river.

The shimmer looks wonderful on screen, I'm sure it's even lovelier in real life. That's one of my favourite wedding images, and the sentiment is great with it. I like this a lot .
