I needed a get well card for our 41 yo nephew Knute, who is having surgery today for a ruptured achilles tendon...Big Ouch!
I am sure Knute will be back ASAP playing his favorite sport...Basketball!
BTW, I CASE'd a sample card on pg. 183 of the current SU catalog. I have loved this card since the catty 1st came out. Now that we are getting a new Annual Catty on June 1st I thought I best do it soon. I made a few changes, but not too much.
Also used one of my all time favorite punches the SU 5-petals punch that is retiring and Mocha Morning Specialty DP.
I distressed the edges with the cutting tool (ret. also) and used my spritzer (NOT retiring).
Enjoy and thanks Michelle for a fun and easy challenge.

I just popped into the main gallery and what do I see first??? Your amazing card Nancy! Wow! You managed to make a *floral* card look perfectly masculine. Excellent job! Poor Knute will really love it. I hope his surgery goes well.

Wonderful card, Nancy! I love the neutral colors and twine for the stem! Great job of distressing and what a neat butterfly brad you chose for the flower center! Your nephew will appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Love, love the 3D quality of this card. Great dimension with the twine, punched flower and leaves, and brad. The distressing technique worked so well with this. I am definitely putting this in my favorites!
