For me, doing a distressed looking card means adding lots of different textures. Do you all decide you're going to use a certain thing on a card, no matter what? For this card, it was my new wooden tags from Impress. I had no plan other than that. I stamped a distressed border with distress inks on the parchment layer, then kept on adding layers. I had a blast doing this card and yes, stamping has been very de-stressing for me the past few years.

That wooden tag is fab looking - and I really like all the little details like the cog and twine and the tiny beads.
I think I don't work so well if there's something I really want to use embellishment wise, I tend to start with the stamp.
