This is for this weeks CC - Karen gave us this weeks colours - More Mustard, Pool Party, Early Espresso - and the desert option - designer papers, store bought or make your own. I really like using this colour combination - can't wait to see what every one comes up with this week.
This also for this weeks Teaparty - There's a new tea parlor in town Sheri (KSnurse) is hosting this months Teaparty Tickle. We are heading to Old Towne to help open up a new tea parlor in grand style - but there is a catch... come and find out what it's all about - and maybe you will get a new Tattoo while you are there.. Can you see Sindy Sue's "heart" tattoo .... for myself - I have a lovely wolf tattoo on my right shoulder - maybe I need to get inked again
Plus this is for last weeks Queen for the Day challenge - Sue (Suen) was passed the crown. I cased this humorous card of Sue's FS95 Three Sisters Sue had cased one of Flowergal36 (Dawn's) cards Tom the Stuffed Turkey
I changed the layout, but used the same image that Sue used - I also used striped designer paper and a fun sentiment. I coloured the image (thanks Pat Smethers for the image) with Stampin Up and Tombow markers. Masked the image, sponged barely banana ink around the old gals. Next I sponged more mustard around the top of the image panel. I drew in the vertical lines with a yellow marker to make it look like panelling. The gal with the bun - I gave her a blue tinge to her hair . I coloured each of the gals clothes with one of the colour challenge colours. I made up the sentiment - if you are going to the weeks teaparty - your will understand what the sentiment is all about.
Friday's free 4 all - mix n match your designer papers - two or more. I have used for different designer papers. For the Striped section I cut up two different papers into different sized strips. Alternated the brown with the striped dp.
Thanks for looking, hope your will join us in the colour challenge and at our Teaparty.
Hugs..Pat

Wonderful, wonderful!! I love how you worked the Color Challenge into the Teapot challenge, the QFTD Challenge and the F4A Challenge! The scene of these ladies talking about tats is just too funny!!
Uh oh It looks like Betty Sue may need something a bit stronger than tea to get her nerve up to get inked. This is so adorable & I love the cheesecake on the dp too. (How did you ever stitch the edge of that callout so perfectly?)
