Back in the day when I didn't have a lot of stamps and with the ones I had my coloring of them was just not that good. SO I would cut out cute images from fabric and put it on cs making a card.
Today we were to go back in time when we didn't have all those convienient things of today. Since I just bought this cute fabric I had to use it.....my card....
Holly did mention to "doodle" on your card, so doodle I did. I drew a little scene... this is a Western scene of the swinging doors to the Saloon with the place to tie up your horse. Seems like the sheriff and his wild girlfriend are having some fun in the street! Yee Haw!
Glued the two cows to cs, cut out and popped up on my doodled scene. The scene was colored with SoHo markers and sponging. The street was stamped with SU itty bitty bgs.
Well, hope this qualifies for the challenge today....TFL :0)

Oh, the memories! I remember actually using fusible bonding agents on the back of fabric to adhere it to cards, back in the day! This is an incredibly clever and fun frolic in papercraft nostalgia... tfs

Oh how cute!! I'm so glad that you did the fabric thing, as that's what we did back in the beginning of our stamping. I really didn't like the fussy cutting, so tried to find easy things to cut out. I love this cute card, Cathy!! These are literally a Cowboy and Cowgirl! I love the outside bar scene you drew and colored! You took us back to the Wild Wild West!!

Now this is CLEVER, Cathy. Using fabric...and a fun one at that....on your card. You are the "Queen of Doodling" so that part was a snap for you......and, in fact, your doodling is better than any stamp you could buy! Your cards always tell a story and that is GREAT!
