The technique challenge was to use old tools and techniques. Easy for me-- I'm old and have old stuff, still, with which to play!
I chose a rose frame stamp from the early 90's, my old colored pencils, and even those sad, clumsy paper edgers decorative scissors. Never could cut straight with them!

I'm with you on those decorative edge scissors : ) Love your rose image and the framing...just beautiful. You did a wonderful job of coloring. The sentiment is a great one that I must remember.
