Here is the card I mailed out to Charles, Rosalia's DH who needs a bit of cheer right now after some surgery for cancer, and who better than the Tea Potters!! See his story RIGHT HERE
Charles is a Ham radio operator now and a machinist, who even has a purple belt in Tae Kwon Do. He loves to fix things too, so I made sure to add a couple of screws to his ham radio set up, with a lot of the Morse code in the BG. This was a clip art image I found to fill the bill this week - inside I am sending him a "73" which is the code for Best Regards, I think - not sure - I may have flunked my first operator test!!
Had fun with this and I hope Charles likes all the cards he will be getting from the caring and supportive Tea Potters.
Thanks for looking!!

Adorable Green One- you got you a tight "73" on this one. I think Charles will smile!

hey Sue! I am so glad I came back to the gallery to see if there were any more cards uploaded! Tee hee! What a great card you made for Charles! I love the dah dahs! Giggle! And that little Ham operator image is dah dah dah da bomb! Code 73 is just the ticket! No worries about flunking......its where the majority of the teapotters will fall, I fear.....instead of studying our morse code, we'll be shopping for embellishments on line! Hee hee! You did good! Sorry I am so late!

What a great image you found! I tried to find something like this but couldn't find anything and had to improvise. Sometimes this challenge really does stretch me! Love your card - that guy looks like he is in Ham radio heaven - kind of how we look probably when we are crafting! LOL! Hugz - lots of them!!!!

Brilliant background and fun images. I do truly believe the one in the foreground is a radio, but goodness, it just brought back such a visual memory of one of my dad's transformers.
