I created this card for a good friend having a birthday next week. She is beautiful inside and out, so I wanted this card to be extra special for her. Today's ways to use it technique challenge was perfect.
I used a large tag. First I applied reinkers to my craft mat, then added silver glimmer mist and water before dredging the tag in the colors. The leaves are cut/embossed using Spellbinders On the Vine Border Grand and also spritzed with the silver glimmer mist. I then stamped the beautiful rose image in the top left corner using Aged Mahogany distress ink and embossing with iridescent ice embossing powder. I added three different sentiments to the tag using Basic Gray ink. I then used the Wrought Iron corner punch on two of the corners and rounded all of them. I colored some seam binding with the same inks and tied that, some silver organdy ribbon and a bit of lace to the top of the tag. I added a small piece of the silver organdy ribbon to the tag and a rosette made from the same lace. The main sentiment was stamped with the Aged Mahogany ink onto vellum and added to the deep rose colored tag which is cut/embossed using Spellbinders Antique Frame and Accents, but the detail is kind of covered up with the rosette.
Thanks for looking. Have a beautiful day!
