You are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind, a country kinda mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination, with spurs and lassos, horses and real men- Godly Men. Next stop, the ! And also, a dimension of time travel- back to October 19, 2011.
Aaaack! The doorbell! It's the doorbell! A quietness falls over the normally paper strewn home. Allate Pain and The Grinder draw their weapons in preparation to protect this most precious woman. She must be sheltered, for her skills are many and her heart is tender. She is the Encourager to all, even the Cheaters! And a QTEA to boot (cowboy boot, that is) ....What ever could it be?
Imagine this, a woman, scantily dressed in a black & white polka dotted apron, the pockets full of brads. She answers her door, holding a cat named Rocky in one hand, and a Teapot made of paper in the other. Her home is tastefully decorated in a most appropriate Southwestern style, and the smell of Newbie Cookies are wafting through the air. She is writing her memoirs, The Polky Dotted Times, crafting a story as no one else can. And then it happens.....the doorbell. And there he is! The POSTIE! Aaaaaack! And, what did he deliver? Yes...THE MAN, the WWW MAN, IRL. (Ok, ok, so I am late...that is another dimension completely! The SLACKER ZONE!)
This very late birthday greeting is for Cindy (Mothermark), who happens to share my passion for cowboys, and in particular, paper cowboys. When I saw this card by Vickie Y, I knew it was the one! (Thanks for your inspiration Vickie!) Now, I ask you, what is more attractive than a Godly Man? Not much! I loved pairing my two favorite stamps for Cindy.
MudderMark, I loves you girl- and your heart for others. Thank you for all you are- sweet, funny, creative, and a loyal friend. You are a tremendous blessing to this gallery, and I am blessed to call you Friend. Happy Birthday and a half! (((Hugs, Bugs, Snugs and Snorts)))
Psst...I am gonna start your Christmas card now.....

Aaaacccckkkk!
Is it really him???? What a wonderful, however belated a greeting it might be, da Mudder will be tickled to hold this MAN in her own hands!! From the beautiful wood framing to the damask looking 'walls' and perfect nesties, and the barbed wire ribbon, this wonderful image, described in this touching Scripture, this card is a beautiful work of your heart and hands for Cindy - a true labor of love for someone who helps and enables us to touch so many people in our world!!
Pat, we all are blessed by how you share your God given talent, and your deep faith in every piece of work that you craft - you are what SCS is all about - bless your heart!

Holy Macanoly Batman !!! What an awesome creation.... I'm surprised they didn't have to call the ER squad for de mudder when she opened it. Incredible it IS !
Yes old Rod Serling.........actually went to college at Antioch in Yellow Springs, Ohio....not too far from me. And yes...entering YS is like entering the Twilight Zone....especially on street festival days. No cowboys...but lots of left over hippies from the 60s. Wonderful creative place to explore !!
