My nephew is graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in May. Since his focus has been with the mechanics of helicopters, I just couldn't resist adding the screw brads. I found this stars and stripes paper at Michael's which seemed to fit the theme. I used piercing to similate the cap being tossed in the air. I sponged the image to draw it all together. Inside I used the Thoreau quote "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams" and "Congratulations" from SU's ss Warmest Regards. These colors would work well for a patriotic or 4th of July card as well.
Thanks to Scrapaholicbond26 for the layout idea which I turned upwards. You can see her card at Simple Graduation by scrapaholicbond26 at Splitcoaststampers.

Great! I like the design and your use of paper piercing. Wonderful card. One of the reasons I like stamping is it gives you the ability to personalize a card to fit the person which you did very nicely! Well done. Into my favs. TFS
