I was really looking forward to trying the TLC out, but I had to go into town after work, and then we had to go the library, then I had to ring my dad. And as DH had requested a card with this stamp and didn't like the one I had in my stash, I don't even know if I'll be able to get a better daylight photo...
It's not the card I'd originally planned, but I decided it would make quite a good background for Belle after DH made his request, and then I chose Basic Grey Euphoria to paper piece her as the colours went well (better in real life) with the inks I'd used for the background.
Base is 5 3/4" square. I used Victorian Velvet, Bundled Sage, Broken China and Tattered Rose for the background. Then I stamped the flower from Vintage Vogue with StazOn Dove Grey, the bird from Carte Postale and the vine from Vintage Vogue with Stone Grey, and the HA sentiment in Black. I added faux stitching all round the edges.
Belle was stamped on watercolour paper for the base layer (coloured with distress inks) and on BG Euphoria for the piecing.
Thanks for such a fun and totally new to me technique, Judy.
