Today is a day to celebrate the talent and heart of one of the sweetest Stampers in this community- Shellie (Shellied). Shellie, your work is inspiring, and you have always had the most kind words of encouragement! It was easy to find a card to case, the trouble is knowing when to stop! I love your gallery. I chose your Friends Card, for the beautiful layout, and gorgeous stitching.
Keeping your design, I changed the colors and images- but hung onto the stitching. This is a sympathy card for a dear friend who recently lost her mom. This lil bird from ODBD speaks peace to me, and I know Amber will feel comfort to read the sentiment, "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge" Psalm 91:4 also from ODBD.
Thanks for sharing your talent here Shellie! (((Hugs)))

My dear sweet Pat - what a wonderful card. A treat for my eyes as I happened to pop into the gallery tonight - a place I've been long absent from. So delighted that this beauty jumped out from the top row of cards to greet me on my return. I am now home from our winter in AZ where I somehow got so distracted with all the things to do that I made a grand total of two cards in five months! Your details are as wonderful as always - from the stitching to the layers to the fabulous flowers and leaves. And then there's your wonderful image. Perhaps as we get settled back into a routine here at home again I shall manage to find a little more time to hang around SCS.
PS - thought of you often as we drove through Wyoming on our way down to AZ in the fall...

Pat, your friends are truly blessed to have such a caring and thoughtful friend, not to mention a talented, creative one...this card does speak "peace" to me...it's so serene and full of loving detail...I'm thinking about the sparrows and how God knows if even one falls to the ground. I hope and pray your friend will be comforted.
