Joan, I have never thought to do this faux dry embossing thing. Thanks so much for the great challenge! I stepped it up a notch being inspired by my Sis and used misc dp. Sure had fun trying to line up my buttons! hehe ...details....
Took two identical pieces of dp, on one I punched all the faux buttons using a MFT die cut. I also made some white cs ones to put under the dp'd ones for thickness.
I versamarked and clear ep'd each button before matching it up on the other piece of misc dp.
I decided to make some faux button balloons by punching circles out of vellum and then eb the backs with holographic ep. Screwed up on the first one and used white ep. On one of the clear ones, I sponged watermelon on back. Also punched the two center holes to make them look like faux buttons!
Used embroidery floss for the bows on the balloons, decorator floss for the strings.
The little doggie holding this altogether is from The cats pajamas. He was stamped, clear eb and cut out.
Ran a black copic around the edges then put the panel on a med pink card adding the dog.
Again, thanks Joan for the fun challenge! Have a great day all...TFL :0)

WOW!! I really had to look closely to see your wonderful match job of the buttons and the polka dotted dp!! What a fantastic job you did! Love the vellum button balloons, they really look like acetate!! Very Creative, Cathy!!
