Jen's challenge today is to use scallops on our card. I made a First Communion card for a friend's granddaughter. I hope it passes for a cas card. I started with an embossing folder. Used the nesties cross. Added the pearl on the cross. I computer generated her name and cut it out with a fancy die from nestability. I then punched out three strips with an edger scallop punch. I ran these through a crimper to give them depth. These strips are a pearlalized paper. Added the pearls and tiny bow. tfl This is a larger card 5x7.

well, not so sure that it's Clean and Simple is accurate, how about Clean and Spectacular? I think that describes your card and it sure is lovely! the white on white tones are so elegant and the little cross, the scallops, the pearls and all of the nice little embossed touches add up to a beautiful keepsake for your friend's daughter! Thanks for sharing.

Linda, this is just beautiful, and, what a thoughtful and kind thing to do for your friends granddaughter. I think we all appreciate a lovely card and the thought and time it takes to create them whether they fit in the category of CAS or not - at least I do. I love the white on white - just beautiful.
