I'm a week behind on the sketch challenges. This one was so good that I wanted to get a card in for it even if I'm late. I colored the plant with Copic markers on Neenah Cream paper. All the edges are sponged with Ranger Antique Linen Distress ink and faux stitched with a tracing wheel and ruler. The main image is popped up with dimensionals.
This is for my uncle. Hope he likes it.

I love the simplicity of Asian art. Your card is beautiful. I am not familiar with the tracing wheel and ruler technique. Could you explain?
Thanks,

What a perfect card! I love the earthy colours and texture. Love the ink distressing on the image panel. The piercing finishes it off nicely without being at all girly!
