Cindy is our challenge hostess this month over at CCEE Stampers and she has some great challenges lined up.
This week is an easy one - we just have to use an embossing folder. Having recently got a Big Shot I wanted to experiment with Double Embossing, something that I could never get to work in the Wizard no matter what I tried.
A2 base, cream card. I made my oval template using two layers of chipboard and an oval Nestabilities, and then embossed with the Clockwork ef. I sponged it with Vintage Photo and added copper ink and EP round the edges.
I used Versafine Sepia to stamp the clock in the oval adding an acrylic page pebble to the face, and a Sakura gel pen for the dots all round the oval.
Sentiment panel embossed with Swiss Dots and attached with copper brads. I used copper EP on Cuttlebug Vintage Corners too.
I think there's something wrong with the perspective on this clock and doubt it will get much use, but it's not what I bought the set for - just as well.
If you'd like to join us with your embossing folder creations, be sure to leave a link on the blog with Mr. Linky .

Sabrina, what a cool card and it certainly makes a nice card for a masculine birthday. I love your copper corners. I think I'm headed for a Big Shot as I broke my much loved Cuttlebug. I don't need the wide carriage on the new Bug. I have the Grand Calibur for that but I'm thinking I would really like something smaller, too.

You do vintage so well, Sabrina. I love the rich, coppery look and your double embossing (yaaay on getting yourself a Big Shot!). About the only thing I noticed with the clock is that the big hand and little hand are the same size. Beautiful card!
