I have had the honor of being asked to be a quest designer for April's colour combo challenges. Thank you ladies For this week Mary has given us these colours - Lucky Limeade, Peach Parfait, Pool Party and neutrals of choice. The desert option is to use decorative borders.
My image is from Mark's Finest Papers - Black eyed susan's for encouragement. The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Elements of Style set. I stamped the image with Versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Image was coloured with Stampin Up and Tombow markers. Cut out image with Spellbinders - left the image inside die and sponged edges with Soft Sky ink. Matted image with Groovy Guava (I don't have Peach Parfait in my stash) and next with black. Used a variety of DP's, matted with black and a textured blue. Zig zag stitched edges. Made the ribbon bow and attached to image panel. Punched out the mini butterflies - once in blue and in black. Layered blue over black - added the mini rhinestones. Popped up the butterflies and the sentiment. Dotted the blue dp and butterflies with Diamond stickles.
Thanks for looking -
Hugs..Pat

Pat, congrats on being a guest designer this month!! Your card is wonderful. Love the mix of DP in your background (with all the fabulous stitching - of course!!). Your image is so beautiful and I love the softness of the sponged blue around the edges.
