So I had made a red faux wood when someone was asking about barn wood techniques. I used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red and Cherry Cobbler direct to the white paper then I used the Distressed Texturz plate to emboss a wood grain onto that and sponged over the top of that with Early Espresso. I used a marker to add some vertical lines like boards. I had distressed the mini Coke playing card by crumpling, sanding and sponging and had made a very plain card that I wasn't very fond of. When I saw today's sketch challenge sketch, I decided to try to adapt what I had started to work along with the sketch. I peeled off a coffee sleeve and tore it for my 2nd panel. I took off the twine I had used previously and added a denim strip. I thought of these metal pieces that I've had in my stash forever and added that with a piece of distressed Espresso behind it. Finally, I decided to add some greens to go along with the country, barn feel to the card. I die cut these and used a stylus to add some veins then sponged them.

So many cool things on this card. Love the faux wood, distressed coke card and that strip of denim. All together makes for one fabulous card. TFS :0)
