I am sad that Cindy will be leaving the FS challenge. She will be missed! I do wish her much luck in pursuing other career goals. It's a great challenge and congrats to all those ladies who will be stepping in to continue this challenge for us!
The theme of my cousin's 13th b.d. party which is today, is Flip Flops. I was determined to incorporate flip flops onto her card. I looked in my gallery and found several cards w/flip flops but nothing that was what I had in mind. Manned with the idea of using flip flops, 13 little feet and 13 scrap paper flip flop die-cuts, I went to work to try to create a BIG Flip Flop Flower card. She loves flip flops and flowers so I think she will like it a lot. It was sure fun to make, especially coloring the toenails with all different colors (which colors don't show too good in the pic but are green, three blues, purple, silver, black, pink, etc.)--using my metallic embossing markers. She'll love that detail. Added a square of light yellow, lightweight cardstock to the inside. Stamped a Think Big PTI birthday greeting and wrote a message.
Here is one of the flip flop cards from my gallery that inspired me to use my die cuts

Flip flop!!! I had to do a double-take! It looked like a gorgeous flower until I looked closer. This is way too clever..who would have thought. I love it.
