This is a very simple card that can be used for most any occasion. I made it for my brother to give to his daughter on her birthday.
The lacy band is made using a 1" wide strip of white cardstock. I made it about 5" long which is longer than the width of my card just so I could trim it to the right size without cutting through a design. I punched it with a Martha Stewart punch (four petal eyelet), first on one side and then on the other side. It's then layered over a strip of blue cardstock. The leaves were die-cut as was the flower but the yellow center was punched. The flower was popped up with a foam tape.
Thanks so much for looking. I hope my card helps to inspire you to play along with this week's CAS Challenge
