The sketch for this card came together much more quickly than the card itself. Just one look at the inspiration photo for the Runway Inspired Challenge had me making notes to incorporate pale blue and gray, sheer elements, and a square lace motif. A fantasy in bashful blue and vellum.
The reality is that stamping on both sides of vellum with pigment ink is a messy, nerve-wracking study in duplication. LetÂ’s just say that if youÂ’re worried about smudging one thing, thereÂ’s a crafting law that dictates youÂ’ll smudge something else. It took a few tries, but in the end I stamped a white lace rectangle one the back side of a vellum panel and a lovely gray sentiment on the front before wrapping it around a pale blue card base. And thereÂ’s a giant heart-shaped rhinestone to add a bit of shine.
