Congratulations to Harriet (hskelly) on being this weeks featured stamper. Harriet's gallery is full of beautiful CAS cards. I cased this beautiful card CAS131 Partial Image
I absolutely love how this looks. I found the butterfly image on the computer - looked under 'butterfly colouring book pages". Printed out the image and cut out the image from the inside to keep the mask part. Taped the mask down on a piece of white cardstock. Sponged on the bashful blue and the certainly celery at the bottom. I sponged a bit of old olive around the outer bottom edges. Stamped on the Asian Artistry images. Sponged edge of cardstock with bashful blue. Stamped on the sentiment - using my stamp a ma jig. Matted the image panel with basic black. Stitched around the edges. Popped up panel onto 5 1/4" square bashful blue base card.
I am also putting this in the VSN challenge - Mar12VSND - something that flys in the sky.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight - you deserve it
Hugs..Pat

Wow Pat I knew just which card you cased - that was one of my favorite cards and I love that technique and I LOVE your version. Now I need to learn to sew on my cards like you do!! Thank you so much for taking time to case a card and for always commenting on my cards!

Gorgeous, Pat...I've yet to try this technique, but the results are beautiful. Love the softly sponged colors with the silhouette stamps inside the butterfly!
