What a fabulous site Anne had for us today. My MIL would love it - we're always looking for really pretty fans as a gift for her when we're away on holidays. I'm hoping to be back using wood later on, but I loved the colours in the first thumb with the poppies, so I made this card using Wednesday's sketch.
5 3/4" square base, with the edges embossed with black EP.
Background papers are Basic Grey basics Kraft, and a scrap of green for the grass. I stamped the Oh So Lovely poppies on the base and coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils, plus a white gel pen and black Sakura glaze pen. Grass is an MFT die-namics.
Main image stamped on kraft with Versafine Black and coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils and a blender pen, plus gel and glaze pen as before. I cut it with Spellbinders Deckle Rectangles and popped it up on foam. I should really have embossed the edges with black EP instead of just sponging them, I'll probably change this.
Beautiful Wings butterfly with black paper antennae was added to match the butterflies on the stamp.

Oh, we chose the same fan! Your hedgie in the poppy field is so sweet, Sabrina, I love how you tied it all together with the poppy stamp and the blue butterfly and grass - fantastic composition!
