To-day's challenge was on a custom cake site. Oh My.... such delicious photos. I chose this one http://www.superfinebakery.com/gallery/ it's on page one - 2nd row - last one. I didn't realize how hard it was to find various colours of gray from my stash. It is not a colour I use frequently so I had to do some digging. I punched the layers with old faithful from Martha Stewart. The swirl is from Tim Holtz along with the tattered flower. I found some black feathers so that added some texture. I am sure they wouldn't be so good on the cake but what the heck..it's a card... anything goes! LOL.

I wondered if anyone would tackle the gray cake...wow..you really captured the ombre effect of your inspiration. It all goes so well with the black flower and feather plume...wonderfully elegant!

Ooh-la-la! Great looking layered flower with the sparkly center and pearl. The black feather adds such flair. And the scalloped, lacey layers are perfect. SUPER card!
