I tried the faux denim technique with the direct to paper technique but couldn't get the hang of it, so I modified it by using the Brocade Blue pad direct to paper then stamping the Canvas bg in Bayou Blue over it. The flourish is stamped in Night of Navy, the flowers in Brocade Blue craft, stems in Not Quite Navy and sentiment in Concord Crush. I lightly distressed the the edges and added a denim strip with knot.

LOL, I did say that today was my best attempt so far - you should have seen my earlier ones. Same with the faux wood, I've definitely got better with practice. This is just gorgeous. I've got to stop talking about getting Baroque Motifs and actually get it!!

I think it looks GREAT! My faux denim didn't look the best today either... i think the canvas with it is what it needs, I'll add that to mine and try again tonight :-)
