This is Janice's card I chose to CASE: Happy Birthday! by catcrazy at Splitcoaststampers
I know, not much resemblance. I did use kraft cs and I kept the basic layout. I also wanted to do the inspiration challenge; my inspirations were the silk scarves by Sharon Hubbard, http://calgarycraftedgifts.com/fabric.htm and the jewelry by Linda Rea, http://calgarycraftedgifts.com/jewellery.htm
I think it's a very good thing I don't like anywhere near this art gallery. Holy cow! I used an old earring of mine for the focal point and tried to recreate the silk scarves with some handmade paper and a favorite leaf stamp, since many of the scarves had leaves on them. I also thought using silk ribbon would emphasis the use of silk fabric (ribbon from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply store).
