I made this card for the CAS DT challenge to make an encouragement card with a nature theme.
I watercolored with aqua painter on watercolor painter. Then I wet my wheat stamp from Autumn Days and used watercolor wonder crayons, then stamped onto my watercolored background.
I chose these colors because I was inspired by a house we went to look at on the weekend and I just loved the colors the house was painted in - cheery yellow, brown and blue. So the colors I used were daffodil delight, marina mist and soft suede. I thought the wheat together with the colors make a nice card you can give to a man.
Some of the panels are crooked (on purpose). I used a button and twine and some embossing on the bottom part to top this off!

I love the whispy nature of the wheat. It looks like it is blowing in the wind.

Trish, your watercoloring is absolutely gorgeous! Love it!! Great way to frame it with the offset panel. Love the blue background with partial embossing.
