Thanks Holly for this week's technique challenge. I loved the results. I used the acryllic distress on the turquoise/blue panel with the embossed music notes. The color of paint that I used was champagne. I distressed it with a light brown ink. I added a spray of Dogwoods from Mark's Finest Papers set called Dogwoods Blossoms. I made this for my friend Katie who just this last week joined our worship team at church. I wanted to make this card to welcome her.

Stunning! You did such a fantastic job on the acrylic distressed music note embossing! Love the stitching, the lovely dogwood flowers and that gorgeous butterfly!

Oh my gosh is this a gorgeous card MariLynn!!! It has a vintage feel from the lace. I love the colors you used around your musical notes. What a beautiful way to welcome the new person to your worship team.
