I was fortunate enough to attend a workshop last summer with Michelle Zindorf, and for DH's valentine I followed one of her amazing tutorials. I do remember Michelle telling us to make sure that the ink is dry before moving on to the next step because she has had a lot of "birds" in cards that were not planned (because of ink smudges). I don't feel that the SU Basic Black is black enough for me - it seems more purple to me, so I stamped the flamingos in versafine onyx black and apparently they were not dry when I started the next step and I got "birds" above my flamingos...so I tried to hide them behind the sentiment ;O). Also, pay attention when cutting your image into sections - I cut off a 1" section from one side and thought I was cutting off a 1" section from the other side, and I only cut 1/2" off the second side, so I have a center panel and 4 1/2" sections instead of a center panel and 2 1" sections..... Makes it more orignal, right? I always tell my kids there are no mistakes in stamping, only creative opportunities....
Thanks to Michelle for such amazing tutorials.
Thanks for looking
